My name is Captain Joseph, and I would be honored to be your guide. I have been whispering to fish since I was knee-high. An avid fisherman for more than 45 years, I began guiding fishing adventures and outdoor excursions when I was just 14 years old. Fishing is more than what I do—it is part of who I am.

My fishing journey began on Chautauqua Lake and the Great Lakes and has taken me across countless lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the Northeast and beyond. Today, I am grateful to fulfill a lifelong dream of fishing, teaching, and serving my community.

I get by with a little help from my friends. Our team includes Striper Mike and Catfish Jake, who bring decades of additional experience to Heron Outdoor Adventures. We also partner with trusted sister charters to accommodate larger groups and corporate outings.

We guide year-round on Lake Allatoona, Carters Lake, Lake Sidney Lanier, West Point Lake, and the Coosa and Etowah Rivers.

For us, every trip is about more than catching fish. We take pride in providing hands-on instruction, encouraging conservation, building relationships, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

With a love for Christ and all creatures great and small, I feel blessed to play a small part in God’s story by sharing His creation with others.
